The green group kinder children walked all the way to Athol Road Primary school. We were invited by Bryan Hunter (the Environmental education teacher) to explore the schools amazing sustainable studies program they offer to the students. We started with a planting activity as the children each had the opportunity to plant some small trees. We have been also been invited to return for Schools Tree day to see the growth process.
We then went on a tour around the garden and also had the opportunity to visit the ducks, chickens, rabbits and rooster in their enclosure 🦆 🐓 🐔 🐇
Bryan then introduced to the children, all the different animals he had in his environmental classroom. 🐢 🦎 🐍 🐦 🐸
A big thank you to Bryan Hunter for inviting us to visit your program at Athol Road Primary.
