Focusing on children’s choice when it comes to learning, our educators work in partnership with the children, allowing them to make their own learning decisions.
By making sure that children are able to explore in their own time and in their own way Dandenong North East Kindergarten helps children grow into confident learners. Our program focuses on the connections that children have with their family and community, and we work in partnership with parents to help children reach their full potential.
Dandenong North East Kindergarten has been rated as Exceeding National Quality Standards, demonstrating our commitment to children and their families.
At Dandenong North East Kindergarten, we are conscious of keeping our staff and children safe in the sun; therefore we are official participants in the SunSmart program.
We take our children on excursions to explore what our local area has to offer. Excursions allow children to discover their surroundings while interacting with each other.
We are based in a rich multicultural community, and our program reflects this. We learn about different cultures in our sessions, and encourage children to have meaningful conversations about what they learn.
We run a School Readiness program to help children with this exciting and challenging period of change. We work in partnership with local primary schools to help make children’s transition as easy as possible.
