bestchance Child Family Care (the operating name of Child and Family Care Network Inc.) is an independent, not-for-profit, community organisation conveniently located in Glen Waverley with easy freeway access and on-site parking.
Providing universal, specialist, educational and welfare services, bestchance has adopted an innovative and holistic approach to assisting young children and families by integrating its suite of community services in the one complex. These family oriented programs include Child Care, Early Childhood Intervention, Parent and Child Support, Training, Community Support and Cheshire an independent, primary school for children with social, emotional and learning difficulties. In addition to its on-site services, bestchance, in partnership with parents, manages many local kindergartens.
The bestchance model has continued to evolve over the years in response to the ever changing needs within the community. From our early days of institutional child care and crisis support, we now focus on implementing early intervention strategies and respectfully work alongside families to develop skills, resiliency and self sufficiency.
Our complex is one where everyone can relax and mingle in the comfort of a supportive, non-discriminatory and welcoming environment.

A Tribute to our Generous Community!
bestchance would like to say a big 'Thank You' to the community for generously donating to their tin rattle at the corner of Blackburn and Ferntree Gully Roads on Sunday 20 November 2011.
Unfortunately the Saturday had to be cancelled due to adverse weather and we missed out on half the appeal.
The funds are being raised for much needed scolarships for the Cheshire School. The school assists children with social-emotional and behavioural problems who are at risk of failure in a main-stream school. Cheshire provides a 12 month intervention program after which children are integrated back into mainstream school with a 90% success rate.
