What is Social Work?

In early childhood intervention, social workers may help to identify and assess potential psychosocial or community resource needs, such as childcare, food or clothing. Social workers also help with emotional regulation, behaviour management and coping strategies.

Social workers function as members of the transdisciplinary team within Bestchance’s Children’s Therapy Services and have a pivotal role where social complexity exists.
