The Australian Government has released detailed plans for Thriving Kids, a new national support program launching from 1 October 2026 for children aged 8 and under with mild to moderate developmental delays and autism. Full implementation is expected by January 2028, after which some children currently on the NDIS may transition to this new support system. Until then, all current NDIS plans will remain in place and access to NDIS funding and services will continue. If you have any questions about the new Thriving Kids program and what it may mean for your child or family, reach out to bestchance at any time for a no-obligation discussion to ensure you are preparing for this vital transition, or visit our Thriving Kids page for the latest updates.
