Our Philosophy

We acknowledge the people of the Kulin Nation, Elders past and present on whose land we work, learn and play.

Children

  • Children are capable, competent and active participants in their own learning.
  • We value children’s individual personalities, learning styles, cultural values, languages and beliefs as each child is unique

Educators

  • We continually seek ways to build on our knowledge by engaging in critical reflection and professional development.

Program and learning environment

  • We provide an environment that is adaptable and take into account children’s needs, abilities and strengths.
  • We value the importance of learning about the world around us and work to promote a respect for the natural environment by engaging in sustainable practices.
