Our Philosophy

We value early childhood education as the foundation for lifelong learning. We believe each child is a unique individual and should be respected and treated as such. The welfare and well-being of each child is paramount. We provide holistic support of the child’s development across all developmental domains – Learning, well-being, community, communication, and identity.

The early years of life are a critical time for learning and development. Children acquire essential foundational skills and knowledge, and brain development is at its peak. We strive to give every child the opportunity to learn, grow and experience a happy, healthy childhood.

The educational program aims to:

  • Support children to acquire learning across the outcomes at different rates and in different ways.
  • Reflect the core elements of the EYLF.
  • Recognise that children’s first and most important learning happens with their family.
  • Reflect the central view of young children living within the context of family, community, culture and place.
  • Encourage children to become keen observers of the world and experiment with their surroundings and interact with others.
  • Believe in the importance of supporting children’s creativity and the need to provide opportunities for the child to explore.
  • Teach children to practice peaceful and inclusive ways of resolving conflicts or achieving co-existence.
  • Everyone belongs – respect for everyone who calls Australia home. From the traditional owners of this land to those who have come from many countries around the world.
