Hi, I'm Gayle

I have been a family day care educator for 25 years in the local area of Macclesfield. I live on 15 acres of bushland where we share our day with the native animals that call Gayle’s Family Day Care home. We enjoy weekly playgroups and visits to the local parks. We are very fortunate to live in this area and enjoy all the bushland has to offer us.

I have had the honour of being awarded the Regional winner for Yarra Valley & High Country as Educator of the Year. It was such a thrill to be nominated by my families and peers and has made me a very proud representative for Family Day Care.

I became an Educator because I have a passion for children. I love that I have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of the next generation. Every child at Gayle’s Family Day Care is given the opportunity to explore at their own pace and feel safe and secure while doing the things they love.

Families are encouraged to participate in the ongoing programming and share their child’s interests and family culture. I am proud of the connections I have with the families and children.

It is so rewarding to see the children not wanting to leave at the end of the day. Every child is supported to reach their full potential.
