I have been in the Childcare industry for 28 years and have an Associate Diploma of Applied Social Science in Child Care. Family Day Care is a passion of mine and I had both my children in Family Day Care when they were young.
My philosophy is that the individuality of each child is respected. Trust and respect fosters equitable relationships which are the foundation for positive child outcomes. Children’s independence and learning is fostered through play based experience and individual choice. Environments for children, families and the educator should be safe, healthy, caring, stimulating and inviting. Fun and educational experiences encourage children to question and explore.
I love my job and have a passion for educating children in a home environment where children have the opportunity to have a sense of belonging in the environment. I am proud of the service I provide and that families really appreciate the care and education that I provide to their children each day.
