I have been working with children for the last 19 years. I started my journey as a Nanny, then worked at a Childcare Centre. This lead me on the path to working from home as a Family Day Care Educator. I decided to make the move so I could be closer to my own family and children. This role has been so rewarding for me in so many ways. I believe Family Day Care is a great option for families that like the home environment for their children.
The smaller number of children in Family Day Care means more one on one support can be given to each child. I love the flexibility in the activities we do, spending a lot of time outdoors connecting with nature and learning about the environment. We are flexible with our routines and cater for each family individually. We like to go on outings to the local library, bush playgroups and much, much more.
I have met so many families and it is wonderful being able to connect with them and watch them grow. I look forward to meeting many more over the years.
