This nationally recognised course covers workers in children's services who are responsible for planning, implementing and managing programs in early childhood services, in accordance with licensing, accreditation and duty of care requirements.
Career Opportunities:
Workers have responisbility for supervision of staff and volunteers and in most states it is the highest qualification required as director or service manager level for children's services centre based care.
It can lead to employment as a qualified child care worker, team leader, service manager, service director, group leader or program leader.

Your qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework.

You must demonstrate competence in the following units either through a recognised training program or be able to measure your skills acquired through work or life experience (RPL) -

An interview will be conducted to ensure that the applicant possesses the motivation to complete the course and has an aptitude for childcare work.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and/or Recognition of Current Competencies (RCC)
You can RPL/RCC your Certificate III in Children's Services for $60 per unit.

One and a half years (1 day per week)

(No classes held 13th December 2010 - 1st February 2010)
Assessment:
Mostly practical, however, some written and verbal presentations are required.

Full fee: $1950.00
The fee structure will be discussed at the interview.
This training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding.
